Voting in the 2011 Blues Blast Music Awards begin today, July 1st and runs through August 31st, 2011 on the Blues Blast magazine website. Voting is open to all Blues Blast subscribers, which is a pretty sweet deal, really, considering that they email you the zine weekly and subs are free. Voters this year chose their favorite blues artists and album from among eight different categories, and the winners will be announced during a ceremony held on October 27th, 2011 at Buddy Guy's Legends club in Chicago, Illinois.
