The Blues Foundation held its 32nd annual Blues Music Awards ceremony last night in Memphis, Tennessee, and Chicago blues legend Buddy Guy was the big winner this year. The guitarist took "Album of the Year" and "Contemporary Blues Album of the Year" for his thoroughly excellent Living Proof album, Guy also honored with the coveted "B.B. King Entertainer of the Year" award. Throw in "Song of the Year" for "Living Proof" and "Contemporary Blues Male Artist of the Year" awards and Chicago's favorite son walked off stage with a whopping five Blues Music Awards!
