The first annual Mile High Blues Festival will be held on Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th, 2009 in the thriving metropolis of Denver, Colorado. For their inaugural event, the promoters have put together a heavy-hitting line-up of blues and blues-rock performers guaranteed to set your liver-a-quiverin' and scorch the hairs on top of your head.

If you need any other reason to justify spending your hard-earned coin, a portion of the festival ticket proceeds will benefit the Food Bank of the Rockies. Also, all proceeds raised from the secondary Blues 101 Stage will be donated to purchase harmonicas for Food Bank of the Rockies children programs, helping keep the blues alive with Colorado youth.
